To support the expansion of IRIS, the Irish Remote Interpreting Service, SLIS is recruiting qualified Irish Sign Language / English Sign Language Interpreters for temporary (full or part time) vacancies to work remotely up to 30 June 2021. 

This job advertisement welcomes applications from interpreters outside Dublin to work remotely under IRIS, taking into account the COVID emergency restrictions.  

The Irish Sign Language/ English Interpreter provides IRIS assignments to Deaf clients and service providers, as well as for SLIS meetings and business needs, where required.  

The role will also involve cooperation with the trialling of new technology and developments in IRIS, including piloting an APP for access to remote interpreting services.

The posts are subject to Funding from CIB under the National Disability Inclusion Strategy.
