Quality Assurance
Sign Language Interpreting Service is committed to providing a high quality service.

Sign Language Interpreting Service conforms to recommended best practice to ensure its delivery of a professional and user-friendly service. Interpreters engaged by Sign Language Interpreting Service adhere to a strict code of professional conduct, placing a strong emphasis on ethics and confidentiality.

Health and Safety
Due to health and safety reasons, an interpreter is required to have a break of 5 minutes every 30-40 minutes. For assignments extending beyond 90 minutes, a second interpreter may be required.

The video or audio recording of the interpreting service will require the prior permission of the interpreter/s assigned to you.

Booking Assignment
If you wish to make any last minute changes to your booking request, please inform the interpreter at the earliest, in order to facilitate your requirements.

A cancellation of an interpreter may be subject to a cancellation fee. The following are guidelines only.  Cancellation fees: 4-7 working days before the assignment 50% of the fee, 0-3 working days before the assignment - full fee.

Getting the Best from our Serivce
Please submit in advance of your booking assignment any information/materials/map of venue that will help to enhance our service to you. An interpreter will appreciate any information that will assist them with the preparation of their assignment.

Your Comments
We would be glad to receive any comments you may have on how we can improve our service to you. In the event of a complaint about our service, a complaints procedure will apply.
